About us

Minus22, known until 2015 as Complex Brasov was born as a family business in 1992.

We are amongst the 100% Romanian distribution companies, established in Brasov 24 years ago.

Currently, our goal, to make ocean products more accessible nationwide, is accompanied by the mission to provide consumer education for intelligent consumption of frozen products.

Launch of Family Mix

Minus22 introduces a new range of products, unique in Romania – fish fillets with mixed vegetables.

Complex Brasov chooses to be Minus22

In the last semester of 2014 Complex Brasov passed through a process of business awareness and redefinition.

We understood the market, the consumers and after an external audit we realized that we must move towards a more contemporary appearance and a more consistent brand to live up to our experience and strengths: Minus22.

Reorganizing of the product portfolio

A reorganization of the product portfolio was needed to facilitate the understanding of the categories of fish of the Minus22 portfolio, corporate brand under which all products are now imported and distributed.

Launch of ocean fish with spices

The whole mackerel and the hake trunk are the two products with added spices.

Emergence of private brands Filesso & Pescadis

The own brand strategy was adopted naturally from the desire to create greater consumer attachment to the fish brought on the Romanian market by Complex Brasov.

While Filesso was the brand presenting fish fillets, Pescadis covered the rest of imported fish products, packed and distributed by Complex Brasov.

| 2007

Construction of the packaging section

We built it, and we were the first distributors in the country to use the vacuum packing system. We’ve innovated and opened new avenues for the development of distribution to import services, and then from local to regional distribution.

| 2005

Moving to Calea Feldioarei

Moving the headquarters to the place that would accommodate our distribution activities and development thoughts of import, was an important step in developing Complex Brasov.

We gained confidence and we have grown to the red color that would follow us everywhere, from the exterior of the building to the connecting doors between departments.

The year that marked the beginnings of frozen fish marketing.
